Aged Yummy are three young men of various musical backgrounds, Leighton Padley (Bass & Vocals) Alex Diffley (Drums) Michael Foy (Guitar).
They formed in Huddersfield (West Yorkshire) and bonded over their shared love for Kraftwerk. All the members have previously played in other bands and couldn’t help but get together and start making music.
By living in an industrial Yorkshire town you may expect an entirely different sound to Aged Yummy’s songs. There are definitely no harsh, muggy tones here. The lads have mastered the art of fashioning complex compositions and off-kilter time signatures into indie-pop bursts with ease. Bringing together a bright, surf vibe with a math edge and uber infectious melodies.
